We received a warm welcome to the Mill House which provided the ideal place for an extended family get together to join wedding celebrations at a local venue. The accommodation is spacious and very “well appointed” with everything you could need provided. Our family group ranged in age from 3 to 88 years, and everyone enjoyed themselves. Along with a pool table, sauna and hot tub facilities in the Mill House accommodation there are great facilities on the site. The children particularly enjoyed the playbarn and play area facilities, and getting to know the chickens.

A large group of us recently stayed at The Mill House and the Arches to celebrate my Mum’s 50th birthday.

The cottages are amazing and by far the best accommodation that we have ever stayed in. There was something for everyone to do; my 3 year old nieces loved the play barns, my 7 year old cousin adored Millie and Bella (and the fact she could take them for a walk), the teenage boys played badminton to their hearts content and the “older crew” loved the hot tubs!

However, notwithstanding the amazing facilities, it was Julie who really made our stay special. She was on hand for months before we arrived to help with the booking, offer advice on supermarkets/things to do in the area and throughout our stay she was only a call away. Nothing was too much trouble – even finding Millie so my 7 year old cousin could have a cuddle and say goodbye!

We had such a fantastic time that we have already booked again for next year!

The Mill House - October 2016

Upperhouse farm cottages are beautiful cottages with excellent facilities. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.

The cottages are of a very high standard and are kept very clean.
Julie was very helpful and nothing was to much bother. Also enjoyed our daily visits from Millie the dog and from the cats.

Will highly recommend to anyone.

The Arches -

– The Bull Barn
Stayed here for 5 days last night. The place is amazing. Although it’s in a rural setting there’s plenty to do as the owners have done so much. I didn’t see everything but believe there’s a barn for badminton/climbing frame. I did see the little shop, with pool table, air hockey and ball pond. We stayed in The Bull Barn which is a 3 bedroomed accommodation. The place is immaculate with everything you could wish for and more – washing machine/drier, dishwasher. The bedding and towels were clean and good quality Each property also has a jacuzzi. Although the properties are grouped together you’re not overlooked at all. We got plenty of visits from the animals on site, 2 dogs and 3 cats which was nice. If you’re not an animal lover though they are used to different people coming and going so won’t force themselves on you if not wanted, There were quite a few frogs which like to come in also but if you keep your door closed while in the jacuzzi that wouldn’t be a problem. The owners are lovely and friendly. Plenty of walks around the area and shops and places to visit. Everything is one one floor (except for the 12 person property) so easily accessible if disabled (also open plan). This is something that would suit anybody – young, old, families, groups. Couldn’t recommend this place enough. Will definitely be going back again.

This is our first vist to the Granary. We have a disabled adult in our party, the large bedroom and wet room were first class, as she could get every where in her wheelchair. The Granary is so quiet and peaceful, we were all tired when we arrived, but feel well and rested after our stay here.
