We received a warm welcome to the Mill House which provided the ideal place for an extended family get together to join wedding celebrations at a local venue. The accommodation is spacious and very “well appointed” with everything you could need provided. Our family group ranged in age from 3 to 88 years, and everyone enjoyed themselves. Along with a pool table, sauna and hot tub facilities in the Mill House accommodation there are great facilities on the site. The children particularly enjoyed the playbarn and play area facilities, and getting to know the chickens.
This is now our second visit as we enjoyed it so much the first time. They have thought of most things to include the play barn for a little soft play area for our youngest, pool table, table football and retro computer gaming unit then for the rainy days a big play barn with kids outdoor swings and slides and enough space to kick a ball about or a game of badminton – so perfect to entertain the kids without even leaving the site for days… then there is a brilliant and relaxing hot tub for the grown ups !! The cottage was clean and well maintained with a well equipped kitchen You really could turn up here as a family of 5 with nothing but your clothes and have a brilliant week – oh did i mention the little on site honesty shop than gets you a few of the essentials (and some treats too 😉 ) We even had a look around the bigger property they have before we left and we will definitely be back……
Jan - December 2018We had a fantastic short break in the Cart House. The cottage is really comfortable and very well equipped, and the hot tub at the end of the day is amazing! The whole site was really peaceful and the location is excellent for Shrewsbury and for hiking. We’ll definitely be back!

The Mill House - June 2018The owners could not have been more helpful, struggling with a disability scooter up an edging within 10 minutes a ramp had been put in place.
Julie the site manager was lovely very friendly and helpful. Would not hesitate in returning and also recommending this quiet peaceful
holiday cottage.
A delightful cluster of converted farm buildings offering a great getaway from frantic living. Peaceful and with everything you could wish for including hot tubs, en suites, play barns and helpful hosts.
Green - May 2018Amazing weekend in The Arches & The Cart House for my mum & dads 70th Birthdays.. Everything was perfect in the lodges and we all loved the hot tub and even the badminton courts! Will definitely be returning 🙂
