We received a warm welcome to the Mill House which provided the ideal place for an extended family get together to join wedding celebrations at a local venue. The accommodation is spacious and very “well appointed” with everything you could need provided. Our family group ranged in age from 3 to 88 years, and everyone enjoyed themselves. Along with a pool table, sauna and hot tub facilities in the Mill House accommodation there are great facilities on the site. The children particularly enjoyed the playbarn and play area facilities, and getting to know the chickens.

We spent a family holiday in the Mill House to celebrate Grandad’s birthday. There were 6 adults and 6 children, the youngest being 5. The house is so spacious that it did not feel crowded. The children loved the play barns which are close by. Our pool playing skills have improved! We all enjoyed the sauna and hot tub. What a treat for the adults after a busy day and the children are in bed! Robert, Betty-Lou Julie and staff made us feel so welcome. Thanks to you all.

Grandads 70th - April 2016

Upper House Farm Cottages are superb. As I have mobility problems the Granary was ideal with no steps and the en-suite shower/wet room had grab handles in all the right places, which was excellent. The cottages are furnished to a high standard and everything has been thought of. If there is something you’d like, you just have to ask the owners – nothing is a problem. The honesty shop was a ‘neat’ idea because there are no shops within walking distance. The prices in the honesty shop were what you’d pay outside – they weren’t out to make a profit. Although we don’t have children, the Play Barn looked good. There’s also a hot tub, but not being a fan we didn’t use this. If you’re looking for a quiet, restful holiday, then these Barn conversions are ideal. In fact, we were there for 10 days, and only left the Granary for supermarket shopping (twice). Because there is a lovely paved area to sit out, it will be ideal in the Summer.

Looking for a quiet break - April 2016

Fab weekend Me and my boyfriend stayed at the cart house Friday-Monday and absolutely loved it. It’s very well equipped and comfortable. The hot tub was amazing and we really liked the honesty shop. Very handy! Very friendly place will definately be returning

Fab Weekend - March 2016

A lovely barn , up to our expectations for comfort and style . The barn is very spacious not fussy which we liked .We cooked every evening and proved the kitchen is very well equipped . The bedrooms are perfect with very comfortable beds , good quality duvets and linen and towels. We enjoyed the hot tub on frosty evenings and our three year old enjoyed the excellent facilities on the premises . Exceptional owners who cater for all your needs without intruding . A lovely barn for a relaxing weekend but also in an excellent area to explore Shropshire . Would love to return to do some walking in the area.

Relaxing weekend - March 2016

Wonderful! I really do think this is a wonderful place to go! Me and my boyfriend went h for our anniversary and found that the location was exactly were we wanted it, out of the way from the city, close enough to get back to Liverpool but far enough for a holiday which was what we got with Uppee cottages!! We found it quiet and everyone was respectful of each other at night times. No rowdiness and even the children had a place to entertain themselves (we didn’t take children but we know that we can for future trips). The hot tub is secluded and hot and even though the weather was freezing the hot tub stayed to a really hot temperature. Another fact I liked was the resident dog Millie, in the welcome book it stated you could take her for walks with you which I found a genius idea! Although we never took this offer up, I will definitely in the future! I highly recommend a visit here to anyone who wants to relax and get away from the city, my advice would be to stock up on your essentials when you go as the nearest supermarket is 10 miles away, but easy to get to. Also what I find worth mentioning is that there are local pubs and restaurants that you can go to but make sure you book beforehand as some only take bookings! Hope you fall in love with this place as much as we did!
